Does Your Owner’s Manual Match Your Trade-In?
“The opinions in this blog are mine alone and not the opinions of who I work for”
Please see this link as well if there are any questions about the above statement.
How often have we seen trade ins like this?
It drives into the lot, check engine light on, the smell of burning oil, some odd colored fluid dripping from it leaving a trail across the lot. The car is in serious trouble. We can see it and the owners know it too. They need a new car. When you open the glove box what do you see? How often do we find the most pristine owners manual and scheduled maintenance guide?
How often is this book, designed to help us get the most out of our cars and to extend its life, appear to have never been open? God has given us an owner’s manual in the Bible. It is designed to show us and guide us to him. Sunday morning or whenever we worship allows us to follow the scheduled maintenance guide.
When we study the word at home it allows us to check the fluid levels and extend our life! Inspired by him and written so that we get the most out of our life here on earth, so that we may experience True Life in heaven, our true home! I pray that when I arrive at the dealership my owners manual, my family Bible, is filled with notes, maybe a torn page or two and barely holding together. John 20:31
